Every year in the beginning of March the first few Whooper Swans arrive at Tysslingen, just outside Örebro in Sweden. Lake Tysslingen is one of the main resting places here in inland Sweden for the whoppers on their migration north, and in the middle of March you can find thousands of whooper swans feeding and resting here. This photo is taken a really cold and foggy evening with a light drizzle outside. In other words, the perfect weather for an enthusiastic nature photographer like me!
