Passing Squall

It was an odd summer. All the rain that fell came in sheets, with long stretches of dry beautiful weather in between. There were no days of drizzle or soft rain. This squall descended like a curtain and lifted just as dramatically.

Location: From a bluff overlooking the entrance to Casco Bay in Portland, Maine
