Feasting Hummingbird

This photograph was taken at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona. I had just exited the hummingbird enclosure of the museum and found this bird feasting at a nearby plant. It was either an escapee from the enclosure or just a local bird who had found its way onto the grounds. A fast shutter speed was used in order to capture the movement of the bird's wings. I enjoy the vibrant colors and subtle shadows.
