Maasai Mara’s birds of prey fight it out

The Mara, Kenya’s magical game reserve, gave up a rare display of two African heavyweight birds of prey fighting. We are unsure whether this was a territorial fight or if it was just plain ego kicking in, but we were very excited to witness it. Our guide, Sam, was shocked and said, “Tell me you got that.” I assured him that I certainly did, and we proudly showed off the photos to all the other guides, who were all equally amazed at this unique experience captured on film.
