Eradicating a disease.

I was recently in Papua New Guinea, helping to distribute Lymphatic Filariasis, or Elephantitis, medication. We were in Kerema, which is the capital of the Gulf Province on the southern coast. In 3 days, we handed medicine to over 3400 people! On the 2nd day of work, these three lovely ladies showed up. The village they were from was a mere 1 to 2 day walk from Kerema. None of them spoke a word of english, so when we asked them a question, they just smiled, and looked to their sons for a translation. They were too cute, and they will forever be in my memory!
