Dancing in ceremony to the rythm of thousands of drums, this three day festival honours La Madre de Guadelupe. The Concheros bright costumes are made from exotic feathers and animal pelts. This is a sacred occasion for Mexico and the Concheros are revered and maintain tradition for thousands of years. The streets turn into a sea of exotic feathers and smoke fills the air and the scent of frankensence is everywhere. Nine thousand dancers hold a steady beat and the presence of La Madre de Guadelupe is near.
