I took this photo while standing knee deep in ice-cold water at Steel Creek in Arkansas. This photo is special not because I went through the trouble of being knee deep in water but because I witnessed the natural unfolding of a day and how the buff was slowly but gradually bathed with morning light. At that very moment, I felt one with nature and forgot all about the ice cold water as my hand gently pressed the button on the shutter release cable.
