The early settlers of 19th century Australia were significantly influenced by their European heritage, often strongly symbolised by the architectural themes of the era. Wealthy sheep farmers built “The mansion” an amazing building comprising Italian styled architecture resplendent with Victorian period interiors. The mansion is complemented by superbly maintained tranquil gardens. The beauty and elegance of this building still captures the imagination and is as inspiring now as when it was completed in 1877.
