At 169 feet, Buddha Dordenma is the largest upright Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the world and sits above the valley overlooking Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The statue site is still under construction via a predominate force of workers from India. These Indian workers reside in the foreground under the watchful eye of the Buddha. And yes, their residence was erected on a slant.
