Glacier Water Droplet

I was lucky enough to hike the Franz Josef glacier on a recent trip to New Zealand. Whilst taking a break near the summit of the glacier I noticed a small cave next to me and took a look inside. It was here that I thought about water as a solid and liquid and wanted to capture that. I also felt lucky to be hiking one of the worlds few glaciers, as the effects of global warming are slowly melting them. The strong blue colour of the glacier and water droplet hitting the water I think really emphasises this.

Location: Franz Josef, South Island, New Zealand
