Birds & the Bees

The reward for putting out Hummingbird feeders is this photo. Every season I look forward to the migration of the Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds to my area in Northwestern Pennsylvania. The feeder hangs off the front of my deck where I sit, sometimes, for what seems like forever, taking photos of the Hummingbirds that visit to feed there. Occasionally, the bees also enjoy a sip of nectar, and as is the nature of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird to defend these food sources against others, there was a show down. I captured the moment with my digital camera, which has not been edited or cropped.
