Sunset on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake

Category: Places

Photo and caption by Debra Bridgman

During the equinox, either spring or fall, the sunsets fall due west. From the vantage point of the hill in Lutsel K'e which rises 700 feet from the lake's edge, the islands in the distance seem to float on a sea of colour.

Location: Lutsle K'e, NT
