This is the most revered cremation ground for Hindus in the globe.Burning of dead bodies never stop here.The terminally ill are lined up, awaiting death,so that they attain "moksha" after the last rites are completed.There are plenty of myths around Manikarnika.Most of them are around Lord Shiva's boons & curses.In this picture,the person bereaved in white attire is next to the pyre.It seems the deceased doesn't want to let go of him,and is holding onto his white robe.
