Gardner Point on Espanola, the largest and oldest of the Galapagos Islands, provides a stunning setting for observing the mating rituals of Sea Lions. These rituals may include frolicking in the shallow waters near shore, embracing as shown here, or simply lying together in the sand. A good time to view them is from December through January.
