The rapid growth of urban poor landscape is common for all the cities in South America. While informality leads the urbanization process, services and infrastructure are provided by the local governments years after the consolidation of the informal neighborhoods. The picture show the interaction between the ‘formal new’ and the ‘existing informal’.
