Taken Down

I was teaching students about nature photography (we were studying water drops on bottlebrush flowers) when one of them noticed that a bull-ant had taken down a bee. We watched as the bullant brought the hapless bee down the tree, into the leaf litter and on to the ashfelt, on a 50 metre journey towards where I suspect the nest is.
