Bella, a black flying-fox blinded by a car accident hangs from an aviary in Trish Wimberley's Australian Bat Clinic. Even though she will never fly again, she is not euthanised because she is a great surrogate mother, taking on 2-3 orphaned flying-fox babies every year.
