History repeats itself. Since the financial crisis in 2008, most of the rich continue to get richer. But the poor also continue to get .... poorer. This problem seems to be a global one. But it is most visibly demonstrated here in Hong Kong. Where 1/6 of the population lives in extreme poverty. And this proportion is still growing. Meanwhile property prices and luxury spending is breaking new records. It's The Gilded Age - Version 2.0.
