Wayuu indigenous people live in northern Colombia on the Guajira Peninsula. During the last 50 years the Wayuu have been victims of war in Colombia between:paramilitary groups allied with multinational companies interested in exploiting natural resources of their ancestral territories, guerrillas stubborn in maintaining control of drug trafficking in the area and the Colombian national army. The issue of indigenous peoples in Colombia is unknown because their voices are drowned out by the medias. Through this picture Wayuu woman expresses: "Insurgent groups disappeared my family"
