Lone leaf

The frothy frog nest nearby, led me to examine this pond for tadpoles; I didn't see any here. Instead, I captured this lone leaf - a beautiful yellow against its muted brown and green counterparts below - with the light coming through the trees from a variety of angles, causing its delicate curves to cast an irregular shadow.
Location: Tucker Valley, Chagauramas, Trinidad (Trinidad and Tobago)
