Taking a Break in Jaisalmer

After a long dusty drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer, my driver took me to a camp outside Jaisalmer where he touted the benefits of an overnight camel safari. While the price he quoted was $75, the signs leading up to the camp advertised 650 Rupees (about $12). While I had no interest in an overnight safari, I wanted to see the sand dunes. It was nearing sunset and I asked my driver to stop and let me stretch my legs with a walk. On my walk through the desert, I saw this young man, also taking a break, watching the swarms of tourists returning from their treks.
