The Stare-Down

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Beth Watson

This is a Yellowline Arrow Crab,(Stenorhynchus seticornis). These subjects are usually tucked away in a crevice or overhang on the reef. This guy was out in a good position so was able to get a nice portrait shot. I used a +10 diopter and was able to get his comical eyes in focus and blur the rest of the image.

Location: Bonaire, Antilles
