Moonlighting With Polar Bears

As I started my day along the Hudson Bay I watched in wonder as the full moon set with its golden glow giving way to dawn's red hues. It was one of those moments that you fantasize about in your mind's eye but never expect to experience. The instant turned surreal as the blend between late evening and early morning light revealed a polar bear lounging on the tundra. She casually watched us as the moon slipped over the horizon, its bright color reflecting off the water. Eventually she picked up the scent of another bear and ambled off to investigate.
