A young tourist awaits in awe of the latest Kumari, five year old Matina Shakya in Nepal. One is believed to receive blessings by worshipping the Kumari, also known as the Living Goddess. Matina took her royal seat as the Kumari, passing thirty-two perfections and rigorous tests including a final night where she demonstrated fearlessness, alone in a dark room. She was three years of age.
