Southbank is one of those tranquil yet vibrant areas of Melbourne that has the amazing ability to offer something for everyone. Mediterranean style cafes and restaurants are located along tree lined streets. Artisans and entertainers ply their diverse trades along the river bank. Artists draw beautiful mosaics and renaissance styled images on the walkway, comedians and magicians entertain the crowds, while musicians play their instruments and sing songs. Furthermore, the magnificent French Renaissance inspired dome and tower of Flinders Street Station complements the spectacular scenery.
