Hope Blooms

The firestorm blew through the pine forest destroying everything in its path and leaving a charred stubble of trees. Now almost two years later, I could see from a distance that something was changing in the blackened hillside. We decided to hike in to get a closer look and discovered a breathtaking sight. Out of the ashes grew this vibrant carpet of wildflowers. It was amazing! How inspiring to know that after such destruction, hope can still bloom.
