Craftspeople of Isfahan

On a recent holiday I visited the Bazaar of Isfahan in Naqsh-e Jahan Square (Image of the World Square), Iran. As you walk through the arched corridors you can see craftspeople at work making all sorts of handicrafts encompassing textiles, carpets, metalwork, woodwork, ceramics, painting, and inlay works. This craftsman is using wooden print blocks for use in stamping cotton textiles that are used for wall-hangings, bed-coverings and table-coverings. Nikon D7000 18mm - ISO 800 1/60s - F/3.5
