Sunsets from ground level in the heart of New York City can rarely be experienced, because of the vertical barriers on both sides of tall buildings and skyscrapers. For minimal congestion and sheer panoramic pleasure, there is the east path of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park, where this image was taken.
