A cute image of a Barn Swallow taken at the end of the boardwalk at Point Peele National Park, Leamington, Ontario, Canada. The birding that day was rather poor in many respects, but the bright overcast day provided wonderful lighting and good photo ops. This bird, along with it's mate, put on a wonderful display of antics while preening. When this one was basically finished it shook itself and hence the ruffled up feathers. The dull, but bright sky, helped provide for that wonderful grey background.
