Trekking up to this point was quite challenging and strenuous, but It would have taken even more effort and tremendous potential to trek up to the Summit at 3700m above sea level (the illuminated part in the frame). Starting from Senaru (@600m) it took 9 hours of trekking where the 3 fourths of the terrain was in the Rain Forest, (Mount Rinjani National Park) and the last part was very steep and covered with savanna and huge volcanic rocks. I waited until it unclouded to get this light here, yet there is some haze still.
