The Path Not Taken is a Heavy Weight to Bear

For me, grizzlies are a significant emblem of the open minded styles in California. I spent Veteran's Day at the San Francisco Zoo mesmerized by their two bears, Kiona and Kachina, as they prowled the area looking for and devouring food. When Kiona darted out of her pond, I ran around the corner with her. I realized she would check her hanging toy ball for more food and braced for the photo. I caught her as she nosed up to the ball with the reflection of the path behind me on the safety-thick glass. The photo represents Kiona's life at the zoo and has many other meanings.
