This is a shot from Gir Forest National Park, it is an wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat, India. It is the only habitat of Asiatic Lions. This is late afternoon shot taken from an open jeep. We came across a pack of 5-6 lions, of whom three are captured in a playful mood. This is an early November 2012 shot. The image was cropped to comply with max 5 mb requirements of this contest.
