Flaunting His Feathers

A Blue Eyed Cockatoo shows off his feathers for intrigued onlookers in Yokohama's Chinatown. I was visiting Yokohama while living and teaching in rural Shimane, Japan. The showmanship of this bird was incredibly human-like. It was a charming contrast to have him perched on the handlebars of his owners bicycle.
