The picture was taken in the former compound of Beijing Capital Steel Factory. It is one of China's leading steel producers. To help improve the air quality in Beijing, the company relocated to Hebei Province and in 2011 shut down all its steel-making operations in the Capital. This old plant will preserve some of the factory's former facilities. Over the next five years, the factory will be transformed into a theme park, with the characteristics of "a post-industrial era". One of its former workshops has already been turned into an exhibition hall for artists to display their work.
