Upper Reaches of White Water Creek

One of the worst hit areas of the Whitewater-Baldy Complex fire in New Mexico. Of the almost 300,00 acres that burned, the upper reaches of Whitewater Creek were by far some of the worst hit. It used to be a very dense conifer forest. It was very sobering photographing these areas that I have spent the last ten years of my life getting to know. Maybe my grandkids will see it green again?
