Cherry Blossoms in China

The cherry blossoms in Beijing, China usually bloom in March in the many parks around the city. This park runs along the ruins of the original city walls of Beijing, which have been mostly destroyed. The entire park is filled with cherry trees, where local people are often seen picnicking, taking pictures, flying kites, or doing tai chi. My husband and I had an amazing time walking through this park and were often asked by local people to be a part of their photographs. I wanted to showcase the beautiful flowers while showing the majesty of their surroundings.
