Intha people are members of a Tibeto-Burman ethnic group living around Inle Lake. They speak an archaic dialect of Burmese, and are believed to have come from the Dawei area. They support themselves through the tending of vegetable farms on floating gardens and tobacco in highlands.I took this picture from one of the Tobacco producers in Inle Lake in September 2012.Usually people of Inle Lake smoke their home grown Tobbaco.I was so impressed when I met this laughing man with very stained teeth.
