During my week in Oman at the beginning of November, I would sit on the beach in the late afternoon as the tide was out and the water shallow on the rippled sand. Every day the heron would come and wade in the water near me for about half an hour, focused completely on catching small fish, oblivious to my presence. The low sun on the sea created this beautiful lighting and reflection.
