North Korea is one of the most militarized countries on earth. The Korean People’s Army has over 1 million troops in a country with a population of 23 million. North Korea has a mandatory military service for up to 10 years for all males and selected females. The training is tough and days off are few. These soldiers in Pyongyang celebrate a day off with dancing and singing.
