Tens of thousand refugees have entered Turkey in recent months. Not all are from Syria. These refugees had made it to Ankara, from Afghanistan via Iran. The families told me they were seeking a better life - fleeing political persecution, forced marriage, forced removal from their family lands. A makeshift refugee camp had been set up in one of the surburban neighbourhoods (Lozan Park, Cankaya). I never learnt this boy's name.
