I See The World In You

This is a picture very close to my heart, of my best friend Bridget (age 18) and her sister Christina (age 16). Even though they are so close in age, they're worlds apart: while Bridget is a Yale premed with a 4.0, Christina has severe Down Syndrome and consequently has an exceptional ability to see the good in anyone and everyone. We'd been playing around with face paint and were laughing at the mess we'd made of Bridget's face. Here Christina looks intently into her sister's eyes. Despite their differences, these girls could not be any closer. They mean the world to each other.
Location: Bridget's house in Massachusetts, during college break.
