Many tourists and artists alike have felt it, the moment when museum space becomes dead space and all you want to do is escape. Tired, bored, and frustrated, this expatriate loses a battle of willpower in the Louvre and closes herself off. For her, and many others, the palace’s some 380,000 objects and displays exhibit diminishing returns.
