Thinking of JFK

Category: Places

Photo and caption by Doug Mayhew

It was a cold, grey October day in Hyannis Port, Cape Cod. My wife and I were visiting the famous town for the first time. We chose to walk the same beach that John Kennedy loved to walk while contemplating important issues like the Cuban Missile Crisis. It was a spiritual walk that gave us insight into that important era of U.S. history. When I took this photo in 2011, I didn’t know the home pictured here was across the street from Ethel Kennedy’s. About eight months later, a friend of Ms. Kennedy's purchased this home. Her name is Taylor Swift. My camera is a Canon Powershot A630.

Location: Hyannis Port, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
