02 Wood Ants feeding on Shrew

On my property the Wood Ants will eat a variety of species. In this image they are stripping down a Shrew.In the first few minutes of discovering the feast only several ants were feeding. Within ten minutes the message had got out and scores of ants joined in the activity.
