Irish Herd and Stone Heritage
Photo and caption by Karin Cole
Nearly fell over a stone wall to capture this shot. This was a view nearby the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary, Republic of Ireland. The Irish are known for allowing their sheep to intermingle and roam free, thus the need to paint them different colors. Throughout the country you will find historical castles and fortresses and sometimes just remnants alongside modern construction.
