While on a humanitarian mission to bring the gift of mobility to the disabled in rural Ecuador, I had the opportunity to bring this mountain-bike tired wheelchair, via the log hewn canoe, to a stroke victim whose home was not accessible by car, but it was by river! Shot simply with a Canon PowerShot SX20IS without any special lense, lighting or effects, the beauty is in the simple contrast of canoe on the river to wheelchair on the rocky shore, both timeless in design and function.
