Badami had the capital of Chalukyas from 6th to 8th century AD. The town is still has the remains of Chalukyas through cave temples and forts. The streets leading to these places also houses several families traditionally been in Badami for generations. This simple photograph is of a Badami woman relaxing the evening outside her house.
