This mangrove park in Bataan, Philippines promotes the preservation of mangrove trees to encourage a thriving marine ecosystem. Despite the good weather forecast that day, it was raining heavily when we headed out to this location. We waited until the rain became a light drizzle before setting out, our umbrellas and rain covers at hand. My desire to find a different perspective led me to this composition, where my camera was positioned just a foot above the water. The wait and prayers for good light in knee-deep waters were all worth it as we were blessed with this glorious display of light.
