After completing a peak ascent of an unnamed peak in the East Alaska Range, Alaska, I took the opportunity to grab this shot. The pure, untracked snow interrupted by the sheer face of the peak provided a perfect backdrop for the small explorer group of which I was a part. This photo embraces the feeling of total solitude and scale within this beautiful and untouched region of Alaska.
