Decomposing Goat Skull

While wandering around Radi Rum, a desert in Jordan, I came across an abandoned Bedouin camp where a goat had been slaughtered. They left its head to slowly decompose in the dry, desert sun. The skull perfectly describes the beautiful yet mostly lifeless landscape.
